Job Overview

A Warehouse Coordinator is sought to join a prominent engineering firm. This role involves managing the packing and distribution of products in accordance with established protocols and standards.

The ideal candidate must possess a valid forklift license, specifically for Counterbalance, which is crucial for this position.

Compensation Package
Salary range: £24,000 – £28,000 (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately record goods in the inventory system, ensuring proper packaging and dispatch.
  • Manage the booking of items for outgoing shipments or internal use.
  • Select components based on the provided picking list.
  • Prepare items for shipment, ensuring they are packaged appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate bin locations and inventory records.
  • Identify and report any shortages to the purchasing or production teams.
  • Verify the accuracy of accompanying documentation.
  • Input inventory transactions into the management system.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory.
  • Utilize a forklift for loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace while adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or related fields.
  • Current forklift certification for Counterbalance (active certification required).
  • Familiarity with Aisle Master equipment.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and data entry.
  • Ability to work independently and with precision.
  • Relevant experience in logistics is preferred.
  • Must be able to commute to the workplace.
