Job Overview
The Radiology Department is looking for dedicated and proactive individuals to join our team as Radiographic Assistants. This role is integral to our Mammography and X-Ray services, which have recently been enhanced through significant renovations.
As a Radiographic Assistant, you will engage in a variety of administrative and clerical responsibilities while also participating in direct patient interactions. Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional organizational and administrative capabilities, along with a compassionate approach to patient care. The ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as independently, is essential. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate sensitively are vital for this position.
We offer several part-time positions across various shifts, including daytime, evening, and weekend opportunities within different areas of the department, such as X-Ray and Mammography.
While your primary responsibilities will be centered in the X-Ray Department, there may be occasions to assist in other sections of the Radiology Department and community locations.

Main Responsibilities
Your duties will include supporting radiographers, radiologists, and the broader radiology multidisciplinary team by performing non-radiographic tasks. These tasks encompass:
- Patient care, preparation, and management for radiological procedures
- Equipment preparation and ordering through our online procurement system
- Reception and clerical responsibilities
- Processing of images as necessary
Proficiency in Welsh is preferred for this role; however, we welcome applications from both Welsh and English speakers.
