Job Summary:
Hunter Selection is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our financial operations and ensuring the provision of accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial resources effectively, ensuring the optimal use of funds and resources.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and best practices.
- Ensure the provision of high-quality financial reporting, including financial statements and budget preparation.
- Implement and maintain compliance with relevant regulations, including DfE and ESFA guidelines.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of financial systems, ensuring they are fit for purpose and meet the needs of the organization.
- Manage financial monitoring, including payroll, pensions, and auditing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head of Finance, Finance Director, or Senior Finance Manager.
- Experience working with public finance and associated procedures and regulations.
- Strong financial management and reporting skills, including budget preparation and income generation.
- Experience with computerized data systems and handling large complex data.
- Familiarity with ESFA (Education and Skills Funding Agency) guidelines and regulations.
- CIMA/ACCA or equivalent qualification.
