About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Care Coordinator to join our team at MidKent College. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and care needs of our students are met.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and review information, resources, and training related to the ongoing health and care needs of students.
  • Ensure consistent and robust information sharing practices between key staff, parents, and other professionals.
  • Support the creation of risk assessments, support plans, and policies to ensure the health and care needs of students are met.
Requirements
  • Level 4 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience of managing the health and care needs of young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to form positive relationships and act as a role model and ambassador.
Working Arrangements

This is a permanent position working 22.5 hours per week over an extended term-time of 42 weeks per year. There is flexibility around the pattern of these hours within the standard working week of Monday-Thursday and 08:30-16:30 Friday, as long as this includes Wednesday afternoons.
