Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Dover. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Early Years and KS1 classes, providing individualized support to students and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities to students in the Early Years and KS1 classes
  • Provide individualized support to students who require additional help
  • Assist with the preparation and organization of teaching materials and resources
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience

Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent NVQ Level 2
  • Experience working in a primary school setting
  • Approachable and flexible
  • Experience running phonic interventions
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and KS1
