Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our client's logistics business. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will be the backbone of the office, ensuring smooth workflows and supporting key departments such as Operations, Customer Service, and HR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the management team and departments.
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling meetings, answering phones, and handling correspondence.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to assist with documentation, filing, and record-keeping.
- Assist with inventory management and the ordering of office supplies.
- Maintain and organize company records, reports, and documents, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and format reports, presentations, and internal communications.
- Handle data entry and database management, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
- Act as a point of contact for external clients, vendors, and customers, assisting with inquiries and requests.
- Support HR with employee onboarding, scheduling interviews, and maintaining employee records.
- Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and training sessions.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Office Administrator, or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
