About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Surveyor to join our Building Consultancy team at Lambert Smith Hampton. As a Graduate Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting our senior surveyors in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Gain experience and skills to work towards becoming a Chartered member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
  • Provide support on instructions to senior surveyors within the Building Consultancy team.
  • Undertake instructions with support from senior colleagues.
  • Contribute towards departmental financial performance targets.
  • Liaise with other departments and divisions within the company.
  • Represent Lambert Smith Hampton and promote the full range of property-related services available to clients.

Key Skills and Qualities:

  • Suitable qualifications with eligibility to apply for RICS Chartered membership.
  • Computer literacy, specifically in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting workloads.
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Possess a valid UK driving license.

Organizational Focus:

  • Understand the structure of a multi-disciplinary firm of surveyors and the services offered.
  • Have an awareness of how Building Consultancy adds value to other departments.
  • Be a strong team player and willing to develop your own skills and support the Building Consultancy team to improve their delivery and profile.

  • Communicate and converse well and be clearly understood by others in the team.

Analytical Reasoning:

  • Good attention to detail by regularly producing carefully prepared, accurate work.
