Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Thames Water Utilities Limited. As a key member of our Asset Management Centre, you will be responsible for ensuring the commercial aspects of our Logistics Management Centre are managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide commercial advice to local operational teams to ensure Thames Water meets all contractual, legal, and commercial obligations.
- Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in assessing complex works and claims, safeguarding the company against claims over £1 million per annum.
- Deliver efficiency savings to Thames Water of £1 million per annum by identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
Requirements:
- Degree or similar in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Experience in commercial responsibility over £3 million and resolving claims over £200K.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at the local management level.
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary up to £52,000 per annum, depending on experience and skills.
- 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with length of service, plus bank holidays.
