Gleeson Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join their team on a 6-month interim basis. As a key member of the finance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a payroll of 12,000 employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Lead a team of 7 payroll specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Respond to payroll and benefit queries, including SMP, SSP, Tax, and Medical benefits, in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and present payroll reports and reconciliations to the finance team, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll management, with a strong understanding of UK payroll regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
