Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Center Analyst to join our team at TRIA. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for analyzing and mitigating potential security threats to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • **Network Fundamentals**: In-depth knowledge of network protocols, including OSI Stack, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(S), and SMTP.
  • **Threat Analysis**: Understanding of threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), including phishing, port scanning, web application attacks, DDoS, and lateral movement.
  • **Vulnerability Management**: Ability to analyze vulnerabilities and threats, and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • **Design Review**: Review of designs, procedures, and architectural diagrams to ensure security best practices are followed.
  • **Reporting**: Production of reports for distribution to senior management, highlighting security incidents and recommendations for improvement.
  • **SIEM and EDR**: Proven experience with commercial SIEM and EDR systems, including configuration and deployment.
  • **Incident Response**: Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents, analyze logs, and determine appropriate response actions.

InfoSec Capabilities:

  • **Security Frameworks**: Understanding of ISO27001 and NIST Cyber Security Frameworks.
  • **Risk Management**: Familiarity with risk management, risk acceptance processes, and security assessments.
  • **Security Controls**: Understanding of security assessments and mitigation controls, including risk, compliance, process, and procedure.
