Job Title: National Traffic Light Technician

Are you looking for a challenging role that requires physical work and attention to detail? We have an exciting opportunity for a National Traffic Light Technician to join our team at HB People Recruitment & HR Specialists.

About the Role:

As a National Traffic Light Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and removing temporary traffic lights while working to the highest level of Health and Safety standards. This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and remove temporary traffic lights
  • Maintain and service all traffic light equipment
  • Repair and replace batteries (23kg each) on-site and off-site
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed to company standards and adhere to company rules and regulations
Requirements:
  • A full UK driving license is essential (B&E would be an advantage) for operating a company van/truck
  • A previous role in maintaining or operating temporary traffic systems would be an advantage, but full training is provided
  • A previous electrical background would be beneficial, but not essential
About You:

We are looking for a highly organized and adaptable individual who can work towards deadlines and meet the demands of a fast-paced environment. You must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undergo a driving license background check.

This role involves travelling to various locations across the UK, with possible overnight stays. Overtime and rotational on-call cover are involved with the position.
