Audit and Accounts Senior Position Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join their team in Harrow, North London. As an Audit and Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a small audit team, assisting junior members, and completing audits, accounts preparation, and personal and partnership tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a small audit team
  • Assist junior members of the team
  • Complete audits, accounts preparation, and personal and partnership tax returns
  • Review and complete accounts for sole traders, partnerships, LLP, and company accounts
  • Act as primary contact for a portfolio of UK and international clients
  • Be self-motivated, able to work to tight deadlines, and have excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills
  • Liaise with practice manager on progress for all jobs and cross-selling opportunities
  • Actively manage your self-development and continuing professional education
  • Have a genuine interest in understanding your clients' businesses with the drive to deliver exceptional client service

Requirements:

  • Good technical skills in audit and accounts
  • 5 years + experience within an Accountancy practice is essential
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications are highly desirable of QBE candidates are welcome to apply

Remuneration:

  • £40,000 - £50,000 dependant on skills and experience (flexible)
  • 31 days holiday - increasing per year of service
  • Holiday and sick bonus scheme
  • Regular CPD courses for audit, accounts, tax, and other specialist courses
  • There is a high possibility this role will quickly progress into a Management opportunity
