We're seeking an experienced audit professional to join our team as an Audit Team Leader. As a key member of our audit practice, you'll be responsible for guiding and mentoring junior staff while maintaining the highest standards of audit quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with managers and directors on audit risk assessments and strategic planning.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of audit assignments.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff, both on-site and remotely.
- Liaise with clients throughout the audit process, from planning and fieldwork to completion.
- Participate actively in the training and development of ACA students and contribute to the staff review process.
- Recently qualified or experienced ACA or ACCA credentials supported by Audit experience within a UK-based practice for at least 2 years.
- Strong technical skills with extensive experience in statutory audit and accounts preparation.
- Up-to-date knowledge of FRS 102 & ISAs; knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented approach.
- A 'can-do' attitude, with the ability to delegate and supervise junior staff effectively.
- The capacity to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Proficiency in IT and a readiness to adapt to technological changes.
