Role Overview

As the Corporate Technology Governance Lead, you will oversee the continuous enhancement and upkeep of the technology alignment strategy for the organization. This role requires close collaboration with senior executives, system proprietors, and external partners to foster innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application Portfolio Management: Manage the daily operations and lifecycle of core business applications, including but not limited to Finance, Legal, Property, Pensions, Treasury, HR, Business Development, Payroll, and the Corporate Intranet. Ensure that all changes are effective, high-quality, reliable, and secure.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Promote a customer-focused approach and engage with stakeholders, aligning application roadmaps with the annual technology plans and dependencies of the organization.
  • Business Capability Mapping: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to document and map business capabilities to solution architecture across the organization.
  • Technology Roadmap Development: Take charge of creating a technology roadmap that addresses the application needs of the organization, supporting broader business objectives.
  • Business Case Development: Shape and present business cases for significant initiatives, seeking approval, funding, and prioritization from senior stakeholders.
  • Budget Alignment: Align technology roadmaps with annual budget planning, using this as a basis for reporting on the status of the application portfolio.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance for corporate initiatives, engaging across the organization where corporate applications serve broader business needs.
  • Problem Solving: Address complex business challenges through process and technology solutions that span the organization.
  • Compliance and Governance: Document and review IT standards, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Establish a consistent approach to information security and data protection governance.
  • Innovation and Operational Excellence: Develop and adapt tools and processes to drive operational excellence within the IT department.
  • Team Management: Manage solution architects, contractors, third-party vendors, and business analysts in future projects.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in practical solution planning and technical architecture design roles, particularly in areas such as SaaS and Identity and Access Management.
  • A solid understanding of emerging technologies and their application in business contexts.
  • Experience in architecture business capability mapping, data governance, technology roadmaps, and project delivery processes.
  • Familiarity with ITIL service management environments and corporate business systems.
  • Strong conflict management skills and the ability to build successful relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Proven experience in contract management, supplier management, procurement, and vendor selection.
  • Experience with systems such as Microsoft Office 365, Dynamics 365, SAP Success Factors, and other relevant applications.
  • Experience in business continuity planning and IT disaster recovery planning.
  • Ability to create solution and technical application architectures, IT standards, and policies.
  • Day-to-day management of the application portfolio, including its currency, dependencies, and associated risks.
  • Support for corporate functions and broader business units to optimize their use of corporate applications.
