Finatal is collaborating with an innovative, private equity-backed healthcare organization that is on the verge of a significant transition. With imminent opportunities for exit and refinancing strategies, they are in search of a proactive and strategic interim consultant to facilitate their growth and expansion plans. Dedicated to providing outstanding care and achieving operational excellence, this organization is ready to seize substantial opportunities in the changing healthcare environment.
Position Overview:
In the role of interim strategic exit consultant, you will be instrumental in defining the future trajectory of the organization by pinpointing and implementing strategic initiatives aimed at fostering growth and improving operational effectiveness. You will work closely with the executive leadership team to assess potential exit avenues. This position demands a seasoned expert with a robust background in corporate development, financial assessment, and transaction execution within the healthcare domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Strategy and M&A to facilitate the refinancing process.
- Identify and evaluate essential preparatory tasks required for a successful transaction.
- Establish clear workstreams to ensure timely and precise completion of preparatory activities.
- Lead a cross-functional team to manage various preparatory workstreams effectively.
- Engage with external advisors and serve as a liaison between them and the organization.
- Participate as a key member of the "deal team" during transactions.
- Recognize and manage interdependencies with both internal and external business operations.
- Evaluate potential risks and formulate mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
What They Are Looking For:
- Proven knowledge and experience in corporate refinancing transactions.
- Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent; ACA preferred).
- Prior experience in private equity is essential.
- Experience working in a large corporate environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, numerical, and critical thinking capabilities.
- Ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with diverse teams across the organization.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to challenge and influence effectively.
- Strong commercial insight, capable of making compelling, evidence-based recommendations.
- Experience in the healthcare sector is preferable but not essential.
