Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrub Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Theatre and new procedure room. This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week.

Main Duties
  • Scrubbing for all specialities
  • Running in the theatre
  • Working night duties
  • Responsible for the assessment of care needs, planning, delivering and evaluating a high standard of nursing/practitioner care
  • Contributing to the safe and efficient running of the operating theatre department, through the acceptance of agreed additional responsibilities
  • An accomplished communicator able to contribute, implement and evaluate clinical and professional standards
  • Initiating and developing evidence-based practice ensuring all staff are aware of current issues and changes
  • Ensuring the administration and documentation of drugs is in accordance with Trust policy
