Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Depot Operations Administrator to join our team. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Depot Quality Manager and Site Manager, taking charge of the administrative functions for both the Transport and Operational sectors of the depot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and reconciling automated payments for our independent drivers.
  • Managing inventories of uniforms and office supplies.
  • Conducting checks on Driver Licenses and Forklift Truck certifications.
  • Administering fuel inventory and placing orders as necessary.
  • Performing local operational quality audits and maintaining comprehensive operational reports.
  • Keeping accurate vehicle records, keys, service schedules, and defect/repair logs.
Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Profile:

To qualify for this role, you should possess substantial experience in a fast-paced administrative environment. Experience in the transport or logistics sectors is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Strong analytical abilities with a focus on quality assurance and auditing processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, a confident telephone demeanor, and a proactive approach.
  • Proficient administrative skills with the capability to utilize G Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A high degree of accuracy, self-motivation, and organizational skills.
