We are seeking a highly skilled DBS Practitioner to join our team at Randstad Delivery (GBS). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our DBS Unit.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collate, assess, and interrogate information from various police systems and the Police National Computer (PNC) to make informed decisions regarding disclosure and non-disclosure.
  • Update and amend local systems and PNC with accurate information regarding applications to work with children and/or vulnerable adults.
  • Provide expert advice on disclosure matters and information on related policing to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage caseloads, ensuring timeliness and quality of information input, and auditing DBS vetting procedures to ensure accuracy and relevancy.
  • Process and respond to time-critical disclosures to safeguard the vulnerable.
  • Complete administrative duties, including recording, receipt, processing, and preparing disclosure reports for review.
Requirements:
  • A basic understanding of the Police Act 1997, Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006, and Protection of Freedom Act 2012.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for correspondence and reports.
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and organisational skills.
  • Practical experience of utilising ICT systems, including database use and data interrogation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
