About the Role:
  • Manage a diverse caseload of claimant serious injury claims, primarily arising from road traffic accidents (RTAs), with values ranging from £150,000 to over £10 million.
  • Deliver compassionate and empathetic client care to individuals who have experienced traumatic events, guiding them through the legal process with sensitivity and understanding.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment by mentoring junior colleagues, sharing expertise, and fostering professional development.
  • Conduct thorough technical and case reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure high-quality legal representation.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, experts, and other stakeholders, participating in meetings and negotiations to achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills by meticulously examining evidence, researching legal precedents, and formulating persuasive arguments on liability, causation, and quantum.
  • Prepare comprehensive legal documents, including statements of claim, pleadings, and schedules of loss, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Secure early payments and advocate for rehabilitation support to maximize client recovery and well-being.
  • Negotiate favorable settlements that reflect the full extent of your clients' losses and needs.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor or Fellow of CILEx with a proven track record in handling serious injury claims.
  • A genuine commitment to providing exceptional client care and achieving positive outcomes for those who have suffered significant injuries.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to negotiate effectively, handle objections diplomatically, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • A highly organized and detail-oriented approach, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of case management.
  • Proficiency in legal case management systems, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
