Your Role

We are looking for a proactive procurement manager to enhance our sourcing strategies for indirect goods and services across the boohoo Group. Your focus will be on aligning expenditures with financial objectives, ensuring optimal value for investments, and fostering innovation while minimizing risks across all categories. This role is primarily based in Manchester, with occasional travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high service standards with key suppliers while driving continuous improvements and risk mitigation.
  • Establish strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to ensure clarity in project definitions and secure necessary approvals before initiating sourcing efforts.
  • Work closely with the Head of Procurement and internal teams to create and execute category strategy plans that facilitate cost assessments in various sectors, including marketing.
  • Oversee commercial relationships with both new and existing suppliers, ensuring contracts are competitively priced and legally sound while meeting service expectations.
  • Support the Head of Procurement and internal stakeholders in formal sourcing and contract evaluation processes, including negotiations.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify alternative suppliers and integrate best practices into our procurement processes.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports and updates for the Head of Procurement to share with the Board and internal directors.

What You Bring

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the marketing and advertising sectors within a fast-paced online retail environment.
  • A proven track record of achieving cost efficiencies through negotiation and operational enhancements.
  • Exceptional negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to analyze spending data and develop cost models.
  • Goal-oriented with the capacity to work efficiently under pressure.
