About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Officer to join our team at Sustrans Hub. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering active travel initiatives in schools across Crawley.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver activities and events in schools to promote and enable all forms of active travel to school.
  • Engage with schools and communities across Crawley to promote the benefits of active travel.
  • Contribute to the objectives of Sustrans and Crawley Borough Council by promoting active travel initiatives.
  • Travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans and provide training and support to school and community champions.
Requirements
  • Experience of leading physical activities or behaviour change projects for children and young people.
  • Experience in the planning and delivery of events.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
