We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Immigration Solicitor to join our team at Britton and Time Solicitors in Hove, East Sussex. As a key member of our private immigration team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal and business immigration services, including UK work and study visas, applications for indefinite leave to remain, family reunification, work permits, student immigration, sponsorship licences, visa appeals, and general immigration advice.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of immigration cases, including personal and business immigration services
- Provide expert advice on UK immigration law and procedures
- Prepare and submit visa applications, appeals, and other immigration documents
- Represent clients in immigration tribunals and courts
- Stay up-to-date with changes in immigration law and procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve business objectives
- Registered on the roll of solicitors in England and Wales with the Solicitors Regulation Authority
- Experience in a variety of personal and business visa application processes and appeals
- Knowledge of the Immigration Rules, Immigration Acts, and Home Office guidance, policies, and procedures
- Experience with the Home Office's online visa application platforms, digital documentation, and e-litigation systems
- Knowledge of the European Convention of Human Rights (ECHR), particularly Article 8 and Article 3
- Good understanding of EU Law and post-Brexit implications, as well as British Citizenship requirements
- Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
