We are seeking a Site Supervisor to become a vital part of our Kier Transportation rail division, contributing to significant projects within the sector.

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the Kier Transportation team, aiding in the enhancement of the rail corridor to facilitate more efficient train operations. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold Project and Corporate Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards, ensuring they are effectively communicated and adhered to by the workforce. You will oversee the utilization of all site resources, including labor, machinery, materials, and subcontractors, to ensure timely project completion within budget.

Daily Duties:

  • Manage work packages according to established timelines and collaborate with operational teams.
  • Coordinate the activities of operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers in a systematic manner to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement safe working practices for all site activities, maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and welfare.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while achieving high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Identify and manage project risks through effective mitigation strategies throughout the construction phase.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar position within the highways and rail industry.
  • Essential certifications include SMSTS, First Aid, PTS, and CSCS.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
