About the Role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will collaborate with our engineering team to design innovative jigs, fixtures, assembly benches, and semi-automated & automated production cells.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design machinery for diverse industries including Automotive, Aerospace, and others aligned with the company's service offerings.
  • Develop fixtures, jigs, assembly benches, and machines ranging from semi-automated to fully automated, empowering customers to optimize their manufacturing processes.
  • Generate detailed manufacturing drawings and effectively communicate with our workshop team.
  • Ensure accurate interpretation of drawings and project specifications during the manufacturing process.
  • Oversee project commissioning and provide ongoing support.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control by ensuring all designs adhere to company standards.

About You

We are seeking a talented individual with:

  • Proven experience using SolidWorks and PDM software.
  • A strong background as a Design or Mechanical Engineer.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong time management abilities and attention to detail.
  • The ability to take ownership of tasks and drive projects forward.
  • A valid UK Driving License.
