The role of Laboratory IT Systems Specialist involves collaborating with various stakeholders to implement and evaluate a range of training programs aimed at developing healthcare professionals. This position requires delivering both in-person and virtual training sessions, as well as conducting assessments to ensure competency in key areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Maintain current knowledge and skills in relevant technologies
  • Adhere to health and safety standards
  • Contribute to the enhancement of service delivery and quality assurance
  • Implement and oversee quality management systems
  • Advocate for inclusivity in training and practice
  • Facilitate training sessions for apprentices

Qualifications & Education:

Essential:

  • Foundation degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Recognized qualification in training or mentoring
  • GCSE qualifications in Mathematics and English at grade C or above

Desirable:

A1 Assessors qualification or equivalentKey mover QualificationIQA certification

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Proven experience in staff training and development
  • Familiarity with NHS operational environments
  • Experience in enhancing educational outcomes
