Care Assistant - Central London.

We're seeking dedicated, self-employed carers to join our team at Patricia White's, a leading visiting homecare agency. Our mission is to provide high-quality care and support services to individuals in Central London, enabling them to live independently in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship, care, and domestic support tailored to individual needs and preferences.
  • Assist with light cleaning, laundry, washing, and bathing.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and provide transportation.
  • Prepare nutritious homemade meals and assist with food shopping.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive pay rate of £45 for the first two hours and £18.20 per hour thereafter.
  • Travel allowance of £5.50 per visit.
  • Friendly support from our dedicated Client/Carer Relation Executives.

Requirements:

  • Well-spoken carers fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • True passion for caring.
  • Ability to travel to Central London within 30 minutes.

Compliance and Experience:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Agree to relevant DBS check.
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in the UK.
  • Be self-employed with a professional reference from a current or previous employer/client.

Training and Development:

  • Manual Handling.
  • Basic Life Support.
  • Safeguarding of vulnerable adults.

Working Hours:

  • Varying hours dependent on client needs.
  • Good availability across the week (Mon-Sun).
