**Job Summary**

Page Personnel Finance is seeking a skilled Financial Team Member to join our team in Lancing. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team with various tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Prepare and enter journals into the system with high accuracy
* Process supplier and expense payments efficiently
* Complete daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure financial stability
* Monitor credit and chase debt to maintain a healthy cash flow
* Support the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties
* Manage finance portals with lenders to ensure seamless transactions
* Assist with VAT return processing to ensure compliance

**Requirements**

* Ability to work accurately as part of a team and take direction
* Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills
* Proficient in spreadsheet software and IT skills
* High level of accuracy and organization

**Salary**

£32-35,000 per annum
