About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fitness Professional to join our team at Richmond Villages Cheltenham. As a Fitness Instructor, you will play a key role in promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for our residents, while also ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist members in setting and achieving their fitness goals, providing expert advice and encouragement to each member during their visit.
- Ensure awareness of every member's health status prior to each appointment, updating records as necessary.
- Ensure all Wellness Spa users receive sufficient instruction to ensure safe exercise.
- Support membership retention through actively encouraging member participation and promoting a helpful and fun-filled atmosphere to encourage repeat visits.
- Inform the Wellness Spa Manager of any relevant issues at all times.
- Develop and promote organized events such as fitness challenges and group activities.
- Support the Spa Manager to increase visits and revenue, promoting other services in the spa as required.
Requirements:
- Hold an approved fitness qualification.
- Skilled in the safe and proper use of weights, cardiovascular, and flexibility equipment.
- Able to treat basic injuries and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Friendly and approachable, with excellent interpersonal skills and a high standard of customer service.
- An excellent communicator with good organizational and promotional skills.
- A keen eye for detail, understanding the importance of creating a safe and clean environment for our members.
