Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our clients to provide support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to a SEN pupil, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one support to a SEN pupil, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
- Assist with the planning and preparation of lessons, including preparing materials and resources.
- Support the pupil with their personal and social development, including helping them to develop their independence and self-confidence.
- Communicate effectively with the pupil, their parents, and other professionals to ensure that the pupil's needs are met.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN and SEMH challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient and nurturing approach to supporting children.
- Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
- A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of children.
