Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant

Location: Northfield

Salary: £80 - £90 per day

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a SEND Learning Support Assistant. The successful candidate will have experience working with children with additional needs and/or disabilities, and will be able to provide a patient and nurturing environment for our students.

About the Role:

  • Work with students across all Key Stages with diagnosis of Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, PMLD/ Profound multiple learning difficulties and challenging behaviours.
  • Provide support to students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviours.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with additional needs / disabilities.
  • Experience working with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviours.
  • Level 2 or 3 CACHE or equivalent.
  • Team-Teach or MAPA qualifications desirable.
