The Role

As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the generation and release to service of serviceable and safe aircraft in accordance with civilian legislation and regulation, as well as Babcock company approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the delivery of flying activities at RAF Woodvale, working collaboratively with Babcock and Military colleagues to ensure Babcock's excellent safety and delivery reputation is maintained.
  • Responsible for the generation and release to service of serviceable and safe aircraft, ensuring compliance with civilian legislation and regulation, as well as Babcock company approvals.
  • Ensure aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance, and all other engineering-related activities and services are provided as required to meet and exceed customer expectations and LAFT2 contractual needs.

Requirements:

  • Supervisory experience in an aviation environment.
  • EASA Part 66, B1.2 licence, or successfully passed a number of modules towards the qualification.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance for this role.
