Job Title: Complex Care Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Complex Care Assistant to join our team. As a Complex Care Assistant, you will work with individuals with spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, and other complex needs, providing personalized care and support in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs, including tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure the highest level of care and support.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in working with individuals with spinal injuries, bowel management, and catheter care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of our service users.
  • Valid Enhanced DBS check and ability to maintain confidentiality.
