We are seeking an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Ethero. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for project managing complex manufacturing projects from concept to launch.
About the RoleAs an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will work closely with our AME team to develop and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment. You will also be responsible for managing multiple suppliers of tooling and capital, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment
- Manage multiple suppliers of tooling and capital
- Sign off new equipment, including run rates and capability studies
- Work with the AME team to create and develop new processes and equipment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in first-tier automotive manufacturing
- Knowledge of AIAG & VDA 7-step structure for PFMEAs
- Experience in fast-paced just-in-time or just-in-sequence environments
- Exposure to manufacturing lines reliant on IT software
- Experience with Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing processes
- AutoCAD experience is advantageous
