Residential Deputy Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Residential Deputy Manager to join our team at North Lakes Children's Services in Carlisle. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective management strategies to ensure the smooth operation of our residential care services.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to our young people.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to health and safety, equality, and diversity.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the efficient delivery of services.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication systems to ensure that all staff are informed and engaged in the delivery of services.
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant qualification in residential childcare or a related field (e.g., Residential Childcare Diploma, Children and Young People's Workforce NVQ).
  • Have experience working in a residential care setting, preferably in a management or leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to health and safety, equality, and diversity.
