Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team in the EPSRC Programme Grant 'Digital Navigation of Chemical Space for Function'. The successful candidate will work on the synthesis of new inorganic solid electrolyte materials, leveraging modern digital tools to accelerate experimental discovery work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on the discovery of new inorganic materials and their structure determination
  • Develop expertise in ion transport in solids, with a focus on superionic lithium transport
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to advance the project goal
  • Contribute to the development of new skills and the demonstration of creativity and leadership

Requirements

  • PhD in Chemistry, Physics, or Materials Science
