Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at a leading Sawmilling company in the Nairn area.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair site machinery, ensuring compliance with legal obligations and safe working practices.
- Communicate effectively with production staff to manage breakdowns and maintenance in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide feedback on ongoing work, identify areas for improvement, and implement LEAN principles.
- Work closely with the Engineering Manager to determine workload and prioritize tasks.
- Reduce downtime and aim for zero Health & Safety issues.
- Complete PPMs correctly, taking manufacturers' recommendations into account.
- HNC/HND/C&G or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Maintenance experience in automation processes is desirable.
- Fault finding in PLC systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work safely, under pressure, in a production environment.
- Computer proficiency and comfort with e-maintenance systems.
