We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our manufacturing applications development and integration efforts in Western Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, defining, developing, and integrating manufacturing applications to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify detailed requirements, assess available solutions, and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop process and functional specifications for deploying new functions or changes in the applications and systems landscape.
- Lead the global/regional/local deployment of applications, actively engaged in service and solution detailed design, and participate in or oversee build and test of services and solutions as appropriate.
- Work with 3rd party partners and be a key design authority for global/regional/local application development items in your area of expertise.
- Provide knowledge and understanding of the existing application landscape and be a key design build and/or run authority for development items within your area of expertise.
- 5+ years of experience with MES and Scada systems.
- 8+ years of IT experience implementing application solutions, with experience managing and implementing application systems in a complex multinational environment.
- Demonstrable understanding of standard package-based application solutions with the ability to apply best practices to create scalable, resilient, and agile application solutions.
- Demonstrates understanding of strategic issues, the systems development lifecycle, and typical problems associated with the implementation of information systems.
- Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills, including the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
