Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Oil & Gas HSE Compliance Specialist to join our team in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial in ensuring that all our operations adhere to the highest safety and environmental standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to department staff on maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Identify and assess potential hazards within the workplace through thorough inspections and audits. Develop comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct safety inspections at construction sites and operational areas, analyzing risks and implementing effective control measures. Prepare detailed reports summarizing inspection results and proposed actions.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified hazards, ensuring the effectiveness of implemented controls through ongoing monitoring and evaluation.
- Design and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees and contractors, covering essential health, safety, and environmental protocols.
- Actively participate in Safety Operations Committee meetings, contributing to discussions on safety concerns and initiatives.
- Analyze injury, property damage, and statistical loss data to identify trends and develop actionable recommendations for preventing future incidents.
- Ensure that all purchasing and contracting activities incorporate essential safety requirements. Recommend the procurement of necessary safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Stay informed about evolving corporate safety and environmental policies, recommending their implementation within the department.
- Monitor adherence to department safety and environmental programs by employees and contractors, providing guidance and support as needed.
