Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and organized Area Care Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Area Coordinators, Team Leaders, and PSA staff to ensure the effective and efficient provision of our care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the staff team to meet the personal care and support needs of customers in a way that promotes independence, respect, and dignity.
- Manage the performance of the team, including financial, staff, and service performance, and work to achieve key performance indicators set each year.
- Supervise and support Area Coordinators, Team Leaders, and PSA staff to ensure they are meeting their objectives and standards.
- Work closely with the Head of EveryDay Care and Support to ensure the effective and efficient provision of our care services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of our care services and meet the needs and aspirations of our customers.
Requirements:
- Level 5 qualification in a relevant discipline or a similar level qualification in a similar field.
- Excellent customer service skills and confident communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to instill character and commitment into the service and lead by example.
- Experience in a similar role or a related field.
