Job Overview

Taylor Hopkinson | Powered by Brunel is proud to partner with our industry-leading client in their search for a skilled Civil Engineer to join their team in a site-based role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough technical and feasibility studies to inform project decisions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Lead on-site investigations, analyzing data from various sources, including maps, reports, tests, and drawings.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular, detailed reports to senior management.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive list of local suppliers for consumables and tools.
  • Identify and assess potential risks, materials, and costs to ensure project efficiency.
  • Oversee the management of construction materials and equipment, including purchasing and inventory control.
  • Provide oversight of contractor installation work and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Hold a University or Technical Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Have at least 1 year of UK site engineer experience.
  • Renewable project experience is advantageous but not required.
  • Must have full right to work in the UK.
