About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Aldi as an Assistant Store Manager, where you will play a key role in helping to run a multi-million pound store, while motivating and developing a diverse and talented team.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager with a range of tasks, including:

  • Operational Efficiency: Maximising sales, ensuring great customer service, minimising costs, and optimising operational efficiency.
  • People Management: Focusing on people management and performance, including organising holiday rotas for the team.
  • Customer Service: Supporting the Store Manager with sorting out deliveries, placing orders, and dealing with customer queries.

You will also be responsible for stepping into the Store Manager's role in their absence, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: An experienced people-manager with a proven track record of leading teams in a fast-paced, stakeholder/customer driven environment.
  • Operational Skills: Skilled in time management and boosting operational efficiency.
  • Target-Oriented: Motivated to consistently achieve targets.

Please note that the salary displayed is based on a 45 hours per week contract. Aldi are also able to offer 32, 36 and 40 hour contracts, and in these instances the salary offered would be pro-rated.
