Co-op Academy Southfield special school is seeking a skilled Safeguarding, Behaviour and Welfare Practitioner to join our team as Pastoral Welfare Leader. This role involves working under the guidance of senior staff to support pupils and their families. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Pastoral Intervention Mentors to develop and deliver preventative and early intervention strategies to improve pupil behaviour, welfare and attendance. This includes working with specialist services and agencies, and supporting pupils to regulate their behaviour through the effective use of TeamTeach and other strategies. The role requires a flexible approach, working in response to the needs of pupils and their families. The successful candidate will be a key member of our team, supporting the school to provide a safe and supportive environment for all pupils. The role is term-time plus INSET days, with 0.5 SCP hours per week.
