About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration and Testing Engineer to join our team at Utilita Energy. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for performing end-to-end testing and validation of combined software solutions, including Smart Meters, comms hubs, in-home displays, and smart devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply automated test tools to the I&T process and write automated test cases to ensure software features and changes don't adversely impact existing end-to-end functionality before deployment.
- Provide technical direction to others in the team based on prior experience and knowledge and be relied on as a source of hardware and software testing expertise across IT.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements and ensure seamless integration of new features and technologies.
Requirements
- Experience of working in a combined hardware and software integration and testing environment.
- Domain knowledge in Energy and Smart Metering.
- Expert knowledge of testing tools and techniques such as TestComplete and Selenium, alongside scripting and API replication.
- Problem-solving skills to embrace new scenarios and deliver credible solutions to business problems.
- Relevant accreditation/qualification such as ISTQB qualification.
