We are looking for an energetic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to become part of a remarkable educational institution in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. In this role, you will be instrumental in addressing the academic and emotional needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and execution of lessons under the supervision of the classroom instructor.
  • Provide individualized or small group assistance to students requiring extra support.
  • Help in the development and application of educational materials.
  • Promote the overall welfare of students, creating a welcoming and inclusive educational atmosphere.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, guardians, and other professionals to achieve optimal results for students.
  • Participate in the formulation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational requirements.
  • Oversee students during recreational periods and off-campus events.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant educational qualifications or experience in a related area.
  • Prior experience in a similar capacity is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for education and a dedication to student welfare.

All salary rates mentioned will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role in the future.
