About the Role
The Company: On Target Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operative to join our team in the supply of a wide range of building materials. As a market leader in the industry, we are committed to sustainable development and providing customers with the most reliable and comprehensive array of building materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the loading shovel and weighbridge on a daily basis, with training provided.
- Responsibility for your own Health and Safety and any visitors or contractors to your site.
- Work alongside the Plant Manager, Assistant Manager, and three operatives.
- Specialize in Asphalt production.

Requirements
- Experience of working within the construction sector operating a loading shovel or weighbridge.
- Individuals with experience of working in a Quarry are encouraged to apply.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and excellent inter-personal skills.
- Flexibility and initiative are essential for this demanding and rewarding position.
- Good level of physical fitness.
- Good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with customers and suppliers.
