Michael Page Finance is seeking a highly experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join our client's successful corporate tax team as a key addition. As a Senior Tax Professional, you will have the opportunity to manage a portfolio of wide-ranging, complex, and interesting clients, leading a strong team of professionals and carving a influential career within this growing business.
About the Role
This is a Senior Corporate Tax Position that offers a challenging and interesting client base to work with. You will be responsible for managing a wide-ranging portfolio of groups, OMBs, and entrepreneurial growth-focused businesses, as well as other wide-ranging clients. You will also lead the delivery of planning and tax advisory work, which may include capital allowances, international tax queries, and a wide range of other project work such as group relief, R&D, due diligence, and other tax planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses, ranging from small companies to large, complex international groups.
- Lead the delivery of planning and tax advisory work, including capital allowances, international tax queries, and other project work.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize client outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tax advisory services.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and apply this knowledge to client engagements.
Requirements
To be successful in this Senior Corporate Tax Position, you will need:
- ACA/CTA qualification or similar.
- At least four to five years of experience in corporate tax compliance and planning, preferably in a Top 4, Top 10, or Top 50 firm environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of managing a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
