About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Relief Support Worker to join our team at Thera East. As a Relief Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work with adults with a learning disability, providing support and empowering them to live the lives they choose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal and emotional support to individuals with a learning disability
  • Help individuals develop new skills and achieve their personal goals
  • Support individuals with daily tasks, such as planning and managing their own home
  • Assist with leisure, employment, and individual interests

Requirements
  • No previous experience or qualifications required, Free, Skills for Care endorsed full training will be provided
  • Compassionate, caring, confident and resilient
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, with a high level of motivation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident, articulate, and professional
  • Keenness to learn in a fast-paced environment and creatively solve problems
