About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Software Developer to join our team at Sensata Technologies. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement highly scalable microservices for our cloud platform.
  • Develop and deploy robust mobile applications using a variety of languages and tools.
  • Integrate different systems using a range of technologies.
  • Organize all aspects of the software product life-cycle, from initial requirements capture to release.
  • Collaborate with team members to establish best practices and maintainable processes.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years' experience building great software using JavaScript, Java, and Kotlin.
  • Web browser technologies, such as CSS3, HTML5, and AJAX, and the principles of responsive design.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, Kinesis, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Lambda).
  • Implemented automated deployments using Elastic Beanstalk, Docker, Cloud Foundation, and Ansible.
  • Implemented RESTful/JSON web services.
  • Understands agile methodologies, SCRUM, continuous integration (Jenkins), and tools such as GitHub, JIRA, Trello, and Slack.
Desirable Skills
  • Ionic mobile app framework.
  • Knowledge of Leaflet libraries.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript charting libraries.
  • Developed telematics, analytics, or mapping applications.
  • Mobile applications development (iOS, Android, and Mobile Web).
