Key Responsibilities

· Design, implement, and evaluate lesson plans tailored to the varied needs of Year 2 students.

· Employ effective teaching methodologies to engage and motivate learners.

· Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and setting achievable goals.

· Collaborate with fellow educators to create curriculum resources and share effective teaching strategies.

· Foster a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages respectful interactions and positive relationships.

· Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding student development and address any inquiries.

· Participate in professional development sessions, staff meetings, and school events as needed.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline.

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.

· Demonstrated experience teaching Year 2 students in a primary education setting.

· Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment techniques.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Capacity to tailor instruction to accommodate individual learning needs.

· Commitment to ongoing professional growth and staying informed about current educational practices.

· Flexibility and willingness to work effectively within a team environment.
