Job Opportunity: Research Associate in Archiving and Preservation

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to contribute to the Community-led Open Publication Infrastructures for Monographs (COPIM) project.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead Loughborough University's contributions to the COPIM project, collaborating closely with project partners to identify metadata and information required by preservation services and repository platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the creation of a toolkit to assist authors, publishers, and librarians in archiving open access books
  • Building relationships with projects working in similar areas
  • Collaborating with project partners to achieve project goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in digital preservation and open access
